We Are Undefeatable
About the campaign
"We Are Undefeatable" is a movement supporting people with a range of long term health conditions, developed by 15 leading health and social care charities and backed by expertise, insight and significant National Lottery funding from Sport England. Our purpose is to support and encourage finding ways to be active that work with each person’s conditions, not against them.
Being Undefeatable is understanding that how you feel can change from day-to-day, that everybody’s situation is unique, and that moving more when you can is just as important as accepting when you can’t. We believe that every achievement, no matter how small it might seem to someone else, is worth celebrating.

What is happening in Sheffield?
The campaign in Sheffield worked with a number of charities to explore ideas and create opportunities for people living with long term conditions to be physically active.
As part of the project we discussed what would help to keep people living with Long Term Health Conditions to be active.
This project was delivered from February 2020 and has changed to tackle the challenges that we as a City faced in the face of COVID.
We have recently presented to Sport England and stakeholders on what we have achieved in Sheffield. Click the image below to view the findings.
Hear from those involved
Jo Woodward from Age UK Sheffield and Andy Douglas a practicing GP in Sheffield chat about the project, the impact that they had and what we have learned from this project.

Move More Month 2020
In June 2020 we were in the middle of a national lockdown and as June is traditionally Move More Month we had to consider how we connected with and helped support people to be physically active at home.
So as part of Move More Month 2020 we decided to design a month long calendar of activities that would focus on both the physical and mental health benefits of staying physically active.
